Pins and Needles is a family business who have been trading in Northampton for over 60 years. Although we no longer have a retail outlet, with our internet site we supply hand-knitting supplies all over the world. Our on-line shop features a small selection of the products we have available so if you are looking for something not featured, please ask.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our on-line catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

Via Worldpay we accept Visa, MasterCard, Diners, American Express, JCB and all the major credit cards. Not forgetting debit cards and local payment schemes like Maestro, Laser, Electron and more. 

Alternatively, complete the order form from this site and send to Pins and Needles, 47 Harrier Park, Northampton NN4 0QG UK. UK buyers can pay by cash, cheque, nochex, postal order or credit/debit card via Paypal. For other buyers we accept cash in sterling, euros or US/Australia dollars or payment via WorldPay.

If you prefer to pay by giving your card details over the telephone please place your order online picking the 'telephone payment' option. You can then ring your details through at your convenience Monday to Friday between 9.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. on 01604-760467. You can also ring your order details through if you prefer or have a query.

Please note that we are unable to accept any US personal checks, International money orders or eurocheques because of the high bank charges involved.
 
Shipping And Handling

Shipping will be automatically calculated according to the weight and destination of your order.

UK carriage: Items sent within the UK  are sent using Royal Mail

For other buyers: Items are sent using small packet Airmail which usually takes approximately 8 working days

Delivery Schedule

We normally dispatch orders within 2 - 3 working days but please allow up to 14 days for any items not in stock.If this is not possible we will inform you and you will have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Right to Withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from this agreement within 7 working days without reason.The 7 days start the day after the goods are received. You will not have to pay for any products and any amounts that you have been charged for will be refunded, within 30 days of the cancellation, in the same format as your original payment (eg credit card or cheque). In the event that we have dispatched the products that you have ordered, the goods should be returned to us and you will pay the costs for its return.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Guarantee

If you purchase an item from us that is not suitable, we will happily exchange it for another item if returned in a saleable condition within 28 days.Alternatively,we will refund your money. Please return items by an insured,traceable system for your protection.You are responsible for the cost of returning any item to us. If this option is taken, then once received by us we will refund the cost of the item returned within 30 days. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS WILL NOT BE AFFECTED.

Lost/Damaged Goods

We check the quality of our products prior to dispatch. However, should your goods be damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of receipt be e-mail at thackercarole@yahoo.co.uk or by writing to Pins and Needles, 47 Harrier Park, Northampton NN4 0QG, UK. We will be happy to replace your order or alternatively give a full refund, within 30 days.

In the event that your order is lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days from the notification that the item has been shipped and we will endeavour to track your order.

Colour information

Although every effort has been made regarding colour correctness, please note that product colours may differ from those on screen.

Complaints

Whilst we aim to avoid complaints by providing a quality service, we recognise that an essential part of quality service is the provision of an effective complaints procedure. We will do our best to deal with your complaint in a fair and timely manner, we aim to acknowledge any complaint within five working days and will take the necessary steps to resolve the dispute within ten working days. We will keep you informed of our investigations via email All complaints will be treated in the strictest confidence.
